The Star Wars sequel trilogy is divisive, to say the least. But while it might be true that The Force Awakens leans into being an homage too much, that The Last Jedi feels retroactively out of place, and The Rise of Skywalker tried its best to please everyone and, in doing so, pleased no one, that doesn’t mean the entire Star Wars sequel trilogy should be left in the dust.
