Since Sarah Michelle Gellar’s wise and strong character is the heart of the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer series, it’s great news that the actress is coming back for the revival. Ever since Gellar said a Buffy return could be possible back in December 2024, fans hoped it was true. In February 2025, fans heard that Hulu could give a revival a pilot order. It’s thrilling to imagine what Buffy Summers could be doing today and how she has changed or stayed the same since viewers last saw her standing in Sunnydale with her friends after saving the world. There are so many questions about Buffy’s current life, from whether she moved away to if she’s still fighting vampires.
