‘It hit me like a ton of bricks’ says DWTS finalist Kayleigh Trappe as she reveals real reason she’s been missing online
DANCING With The Stars finalist Kayleigh Trappe has revealed the real reason she has beein missing online.
The TikTok sensation became a fan favourite on the hit dance competition this year and managed to jive herself all the way to the final.

However she missed out on the big win when Irish Olympian Rhys McClenaghan and his professional partner Laura Nolan received the winning vote.
As the series wrapped last month, Kayleigh was still on a high as she jetted off on a sun holiday with fellow DWTS pal Jack Wooley.
The funny lady also landed her own radio show on TalkSPORT within the a few weeks of finishing the series.
And although it’s all exciting news for Kayleigh, fans began to notice that the star was not active on social media.
The TV star was quick to comment on her recent disappearance as she took to her Instagram stories to explain where she’s been.
Kayleigh said: “Hello a chairde, it’s been on my mind that I’ve been a little bit quiet with videos and what not online.”
The RTE star admitted: “This is purely because the comedown from the show hit me like a ton of bricks. It really did.”
She confessed that she “missed” working on the programme “so much” that it started to take a toll.
The star added: “I just needed a bit of routine and a bit of normality. I had to see all the fam bam and whatever else.”
Kayleigh promised followers that her videos would be coming back in “full force” very soon.
The 29-year-old continued: “I’m excited to get back making things and I’ve plenty of lovely jobs lined up.
“So those of you asking me in my DM’s, ‘Am I alright’, I am 100 per cent don’t you worry.”
NEW CAREER VENTURE
The social media star was announced as a new voice on TalkSPORT Ireland’s new radio platform earlier this month.
Kayleigh will present her very own show titled MNÁsplaining which will celebrate female atheletes.
The clever title is a play on the word “mansplaining”, which means to comment on or explain something, to a woman, in a condescending, manner.
Mna is the Irish word for women, making for a clever spin on the phrase.
Kayleigh will make her debut on the station this May.
Chloe Brockett takes swipe at ex Jack Fincham with scathing post about ‘a********’
CHLOE Brockett has taken a savage swipe at ex Jack Fincham with scathing post about exes being ‘a********’.
The pair called it quits for the sixth time, earlier this month following a string of heated rows and now the reality beauty has hit out at her former flame.

Chloe, 24, took to her Instagram Q&A’s when a fan asked her P: What advice would you give 18 year-old Chloe ? Xx”
In a rant the, she replied: “To stay away from a********, and you don’t need to shout in every conversation (crying laughing emoji)”
Over the last two years, Chloe and Jack, 33, have repeatedly split and got back together.
Last week The Sun revealed how the pair’s relationship has once again hit rock bottom – with Jack having already moved out of their shared home.
The pair called it quits after splitting for a record six times.
A source told The Sun: “Chloe’s been making it very clear it’s over with Jack by posting a lot of quotes and pictures on Instagram.
“They’ve been breaking up and making up time and time again over the last few months, so no one thinks it’s over for good.”
They added that some time apart will give them a chance to reassess things and decide once and for all if they’re right for each other.
“They’ve both been through a tough time lately and are trying to figure out if they’re better together or apart,” the source added.
In a previous Instagram Q&A following the split she was asked if she was still in a relationship.
The reality star responded: “No I’m not in a relationship anymore… just want to focus on myself and the things that make me happy.”
When asked if she was moving in with Jack, she explained: “No I am moving to Brentwood on my own… I can’t wait to show you all my little place it’s so pretty.”
Jack has now taken the decision to move out of their shared home while they plan their next move.
This is not the first time the Towie star has hit out at her ex, in November last year she savagely dumped Jack in a public Instagram post.
Chloe said: “Me and Jack are no longer in a relationship, carrying the weight of a 32 year old who refuses to pay any bills has become somewhat tiresome.
“Girls, remember to never settle. Always bites you in the backside.”
The reality star quickly removed snaps with the former Love Islander from her Instagram page.

Inside the jungle-themed indoor soft play parents are raving about following £2.5million makeover
SOFT play just got even better with the opening of a new jungle-themed attraction in Kent.
The soft play in Maidstone Leisure Centre reopened in October 2024 after a £2.5million refurbishment.

Formerly called Polar Adventure, it was closed for six weeks last year while the transformation was underway.
Just months later, it reopened with a purpose-built, three-story soft play centre called Amazon Adventure.
Based on a jungle theme with volcanoes, children can climb, go down slides, and even venture through a maze.
Also on-site is a new cafe for parents.
One guest raved about it on Tripadvisor: “The soft play is huge! Loads of slides, loads of interactive areas throughout, a smaller section for little children, it just goes on forever over 3 levels.”
Another added: “They’ve done a really good job, it’s awesome!”
The soft play area is open between 10am and 4pm on weekdays and during school holidays.
Toddlers can also attend sessions on weekends between 11am and 2pm, and each slot has a maximum capacity of 50 children.
There is also a dedicated under-5s area with a ball pit and toys.
It wasn’t just the soft play that got a makeover, the pool facilities were also improved.

There was even the addition of a new mini-waterpark for children.
There are slides, water cannons and interactive features in the shallow pool, now known as the Totem Splash Pad and Pool.
One recent visitor on Google Reviews said: “The new splash pool is so much nicer than the old pool.
“Kids young and old have really enjoyed using it. Glad they changed time back to an hour and a half. We have also enjoyed the aqua challenge.”
Ticket prices for the splash park vary from £7.45 for adults and £6.95 for children.
Also in Kent is the ‘Royal’ English town that’s one of the UK’s fanciest Wetherspoons named top place to live.
And plans for £11million attraction with rooftop bar by the beach.
We Visited The UK's Largest Play Frame

One Sun Travel writer took a trip to Riverside Hub in Northampton...
AS seasoned soft play samplers, my boys thought they had seen it all – until I took them to family favourite Riverside Hub in Northampton to check out the UK’s largest playframe, set over four floors.
You know you’re onto a winner when your tween’s eyes light up in wonder and you hardly see your children from the moment you arrive until home time.
Described by one industry insider as a soft play on steroids, there’s so much to do here that it’s a struggle to fit it into the two and a half hours that each session is allocated.
We could have happily spent the whole day and still have gone back for more.
What’s even better is that Riverside Hub, which has been making a name for itself for the last decade, is just around the corner from Billing Aquadrome.
So it’s perfect for a visit if you’re checking out some of the new facilities at one of the UK’s oldest holiday parks, that’s not long been under new ownership and has had a massive amount of investment in the last couple of years.
With three boys aged between five and 12, it can sometimes be difficult to find somewhere that has enough to keep all ages happy as the older two are getting a bit big for soft play, but that certainly wasn’t a problem here.
Laser tag, crazy golf, two climbing poles, go-karts and even arcade machines all included in the price.
The main issue is keeping an eye on all your children as they head off in opposite directions to make the most of everything on offer.
While the youngest was taking a spin on the carousel, my middle son was clambering up the two 10m climbing poles, one in the shape of an oak tree and the other a beanstalk, in the centre of the hub.
As with most indoor play spaces, you can’t bring your own food, but you can always time your visit so it doesn’t clash with mealtimes if you don’t want to pay to eat out.
Riverside Hub was certainly a revelation and lived up to its reputation. We will be back!

Sky News star issues fresh health update in devastating cancer battle – 12 years after being diagnosed with illness
A SKY News presenter shared a new health update amidst her devastating cancer battle.
Jacquie Beltrao, 59, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and has spoken openly about her fight with the disease.

The former Olympic gymnast took to social media to share a new health update with her followers.
She penned: “It’s Zometa bone injection day, as usual the nurses in the chemo suite were lovely and I had a snooze in the chair.
“I’ve got a “to-do” list as long as my arm – I’ve done none of it.”
One of Jacquie’s followers extended their well wishes – and asked what a Zometa bone injection is.
Jacquie replied: “It hardens my bones which were like aero by taking calcium out of the blood – stops cancer spreading in the bones I think is the plan.”
Another follower commented: “I’ll be getting mine in two weeks. Thank God for researchers.”
A third wrote: “You take all the time you need. You are awesome.”
While a fourth said: “Good luck with your fight and with the list.”
Earlier this year, Jacquie shared a poignant update with fans on World Cancer Day.
Sharing an photo of herself in hospital, she penned on Instagram: “Me in chemo for a 2nd time in 2020.
“Diagnosed with incurable stage 4 breast cancer at the time I thought I was going to die.
“It was very scary. I’m now in remission which is great but not guaranteed forever.
“So on #worldcancerday I say #dowhatmakesyouhappy. Because you never know if life will throw you the cancer curveball.
“Big love to anyone going through treatment or a diagnosis right now.”
One follower commented: “Good luck! You are an inspiration. My breast cancer returned in my spine after 10years, in 2023, stable atm and cherishing every day x”.
Another wrote: “Sending huge love Jacquie! You radiate such positivity.”
In 2021, Jacquie was left fearing she had just months left to live after doctors discovered her stage-four breast cancer had spread to her spine and legs.
However, thanks to an incredible drug called olaparib — previously used for ovarian cancer — she was later cancer free.
The mum-of-three also had the chance to meet with the scientists who played a crucial role in her treatment.
Hugging one of the researchers, she expressed her gratitude, calling them her “heroes”.
What are the signs of breast cancer?
BREAST cancer is the most common type of cancer in the UK.
The majority of women who get it are over 50, but younger women and, in rare cases, men can also get breast cancer.
If it’s treated early enough, breast cancer can be prevented from spreading to other parts of the body.
Breast cancer can have a number of symptoms, but the first noticeable symptom is usually a lump or area of thickened breast tissue.
Most breast lumps aren’t cancerous, but it’s always best to have them checked by your doctor. You should also speak to your GP if you notice any of the following:
- a change in the size or shape of one or both breasts
- discharge from either of your nipples (which may be streaked with blood)
- a lump or swelling in either of your armpits
- dimpling on the skin of your breasts
- a rash on or around your nipple
- a change in the appearance of your nipple, such as becoming sunken into your breast

She told The Sun on Sunday in an exclusive interview: “Seeing Andrew, I was immediately compelled to just give him a massive hug — the bloke saved my life.
“Without him and his team making it possible for someone with breast cancer like me to take this drug, who knows where I would be now.
“I certainly wouldn’t be two years cancer free. Andrew is like a superhero to me.
“It really is a miracle what happened to me. And going to see them made me realise where the miracle happened.”

Jurgen Klopp ‘unhappy’ at Red Bull and former Liverpool manager would consider two jobs to return to management
JURGEN KLOPP is allegedly unhappy in his new job at Red Bull.
The 57-year-old was appointed as the company’s new Global Head of Football just a few months after leaving Liverpool last year.

But he is already understood to be considering another move.
Brazilian outlet UOL has claimed that Klopp is “unhappy” in his new role.
And he is now allegedly open to managerial offers from both Real Madrid and the Brazil national team.
