South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol removed from office after trying to stage armed coup

SOUTH Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol has been removed from office after attempting to stage an armed coup in the country.

The declaration of martial law, which lasted only about six hours, sparked the country’s worst political crisis in decades.

Suk Yeol apologised to the public of South Korea for not living up to people’s expectations.

He said: “I am so sorry and regretful that I couldn’t live up to your expectations,” Yoon said in a message delivered via his lawyers.

“I’ll always pray for the Republic of Korea and everyone.”

CORONATION Street’s Tyrone Dobbs will be hit with a huge return as disaster strikes.

This comes as the long-running character looks to repair his friendship with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) on the ITV soap.

Tyrone (Alan Halsall) previously had an affair with Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu).

This was before he chose to get back with his long-time partner Fiz (Jennie McAlpine).

He will come back to number nine where a huge surprise is waiting for him on Coronation Street.

The mechanic will be left completely shocked to find his young son Dorin is there in the living room.

Fiz will then explain that Alina’s house has unfortunately been flooded.

She also agreed that they would be the ones to look after and care for Dorin in the meantime.

But far from disappointed, Tyrone will be left absolutely delighted at the chance to spend more time with his son.

However, his friendship with Kevin is still on the rocks and they are set to come to blows in the Rovers.

Glenda (Jodie Prenger) is unsure about serving Kevin, but he will snap at her before rounding on his former best friend Tyrone.

Kevin will see red when Tyrone labels him nasty and selfish, which will leave Abi (Sally Carman) absolutely shocked at his behaviour.

She will also be left completely shocked when he verbally lashes out at her for making some very cruel remarks.

Back at work, Abi and Tyrone will then dissect his appalling behaviour in the garage as he seems to go out of his way to get the two people closest in his life to hate him.

So he will pay a visit to Number 13 and will urge Kevin to stop bottling up his emotions and open up to his wife.

Tottenham keeper Vicario appears to SHUSH fuming Spurs fans then smacks tunnel after Chelsea defeat

TOTTENHAM goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario appeared to shush the travelling supporters after Spurs lost at Chelsea.

A second half goal from Enzo Fernandez sank the visitors, who succumbed to their 16th league defeat of the season.

Ange Postecoglou drew the ire of supporters on more than one occasion

Few supporters stayed behind after the final whistle but those who did made their feelings clear.

Some clapped while others questioned how and why their side keeps letting them down.

Vicario walked over to the away end and made a gesture, spinning his wrists around his head before appearing to make a shushing action.

The keeper then departed to head to the dressing room and as he left the pitch he punched part of the tunnel.

Postecoglou was also accused of cupping his ear towards the away end after Pape Sarr found the net – only for his goal to be ruled out.

But the Tottenham boss denied he was trying to goad supporters, claiming instead he wanted to hear their cheers as they have had little to celebrate this season.

Fans had reacted angrily to Sarr being brought on for Lucas Bergvall, and chanted: “You don’t know what you’re doing.”

Postecoglou also added to fans’ frustration by directing his players over to the away end at full-time while remaining on the halfway line himself.

LIke his manager Vicario, 28, has also been involved in exchanges with Spurs supporters this season.

Following the 1-0 defeat to AZ in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 tie, the Italian made a gesture to the travelling fans encouraging them to show more support.

That did not go down well with some and Vicario reacted angrily before leaving the pitch.

He said of that incident: “I can assume the disappointment [was] for the night because we didn’t play our football.

“So I can understand the frustration of the fans.

“But we still have a lot to play for, especially in the second leg. It’s just a way of trying to stay together because we have the opportunity to go through to the next round.”

Horror as ‘naked man chases terrified woman’ in broad daylight at UK beauty spot

A NAKED man chased a terrified woman at a popular beauty spot in broad daylight.

The horrific encounter reportedly happened at 10am on Tuesday, at Kenfig Nature Reserve near Porthcawl, Wales.

Staff at the visitor centre raised the alarm after the woman spoke to them.

PCSOs have since been patrolling the area with wardens of the popular tourist spot.

Cops said the reports were “clearly concerning” and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Officers responded to calls from the same area last month over a similar incident.

Another woman had been made to feel threatened by a naked man.

He fled the scene before police could identify him.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “It was reported at 10am on Tuesday (April 1) by somebody at the nearby visitor centre, who had spoken to the woman.

“Officers attended shortly after but the woman had left the area…[Officers] did speak with other people in the area at the time but nobody saw anything.

“The man’s behaviour was clearly concerning and anybody else with information, is encouraged to make contact – give reference 2500101893. PCSOs are patrolling the area along with visitor centre wardens.”

The spokesman confirmed the man is not known to officers.
