Former Premier League star-turned-manager wears PINK TUXEDO on touchline as he’s compared to Simpsons character
FORMER Premier League midfielder Segundo Castillo has combined coaching with the catwalk… by sporting a PINK TUXEDO during a game.
The ex-Ecuador international star loan spells with Everton and Wolves between 2008 and 2010.
Castillo, nicknamed Sir Second Castle, now manages home-country club Barcelona SC.
And the 42-year-old went the extra mile to produce a smile for their Copa Libertadores clash with Argentina’s River Plate in Buenos Aires on Tuesday.
Castillo stunned onlookers by wearing a flamboyant pink dinner jacket as he led his side to a 0-0 draw.
The fashion-loving former footballer has previously donned black and white tuxes for Barcelona games.
But his latest statement drew plenty of derision online – including memes of Marge Simpson, a character from animated TV show The Simpsons, wearing a pink dress.
Castillo said: “When I come out of my dressing-room and my players see me like this, it makes them smile and makes them feel more free for a moment.
“The players can tell they are being well looked-after.
“There is a good atmosphere between them and the coaching staff.”
Castillo made nine Prem appearances for Everton, and scored a UEFA Cup goal against Standard Liege.
The anchorman went on to play eight times for Wolves, this time on loan from Red Star Belgrade.
He later played for six clubs in South America, including Barcelona SC, plus Saudi team Al-Hilal.
Castillo retired as a player in 2020, taking the permanent Barcelona boss job last year following two spells as interim chief.
Jojo Siwa’s partner breaks their silence on her CBB appearance – as Mickey Rourke is warned over offensive slur
JOJO Siwa’s partner has addressed her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother hours before it emerged Mickey Rourke was given a formal warning over an offensive slur.
The star will be left in tears during tonight’s episode of the fly-on-the-wall reality show over comments made by Mickey, 72.
In uncomfortable scenes, he is seen chatting with JoJo Siwa and insinuates he will be able to change the gay singer’s sexuality.
He then brazenly tells Chris Hughes later in the garden: “I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.”
Stunned, JoJo overheard the entire conversation as she brands his comments “homophobic”.
Mickey then said: “I need a fag,” while gesturing to JoJo and adding: “I’m not talking to you,” insinuating a homophobic slur.
Ahead of the scenes airing on ITV1, JoJo’s partner Kath Ebbs has addressed their partners appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
Taking to Instagram, they told fans: “It’s genuinely the weirdest thing not being able to talk to my partner and Them being on reality TV that I can watch live.”
The Australian influencer continued: “Honestly the worst part of it is, all I want to do is Kiki.
“There are so many things that are going on and all I want to do is call her and make like a notes app of things that I want to discuss and dissect and debrief with her when she gets out.”
JoJo came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community in January 2021.
She and Kath went Instagram official in January 2025 when they shared a selection of PDA-packed photos.
Celebrity Big Brother airs tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

New footage ‘shows Jude Bellingham in tense standoff with Ancelotti’ as Real Madrid boss ‘mortally wounded’ by Arsenal
JUDE BELLINGHAM was seen having a heated discussion with Carlo Ancelotti in what could prove to be revealing footage from Real Madrid’s 3-0 loss at Arsenal.
The European champions were stunned by two Declan Rice free kicks and a Mikel Merino goal.
And Bellingham seemed to be shocked as he headed over to the touchline with Eduardo Camavinga to receive tactical instructions from manager Ancelotti.
The England star first threw his hand up in the air, though it was not clear whether this was a gesture of frustration or he was simply pointing towards Camavinga.
And then later on he shook his head before tossing his water bottle aside.
Marca claim that the incident happened in the first half when the score was still 0-0.
Their report adds that Ancelotti was instructing the players on how to regain control of the midfield and dampen Arsenal’s energy to press with.
But Bellingham would go on to have a relatively anonymous game in the 3-0 defeat.
Meanwhile things went worse for Camavinga who was sent off after receiving a second booking for kicking the ball away in the 93rd minute.
And another Spanish outlet, Relevo, claim Carlo Ancelotti has been “mortally wounded” by the result.

It suggests that unless the Italian can spur his side to a miracle comeback at the Bernabeu next week, they are likely to replace him with Xabi Alonso.
Ancelotti has previously been heavily linked with the Brazil job, but spurned the advances of the Selecao last summer to stay in the Spanish capital.
Bloodthirsty bear leaves only woman’s severed HEAD behind in vicious attack as victim’s last moments captured on CCTV
A WOMAN was ripped apart in a vicious bear attack and her whole body devoured – other than her head.
The victim’s haunting last moments were captured on CCTV as she walked along an icy road in Serov, central western Russia in early March.
Anastasia Bulgakova, 44, is seen strolling in the dead of night, wrapped up in warm layers.
The street is deserted other than for the lone woman.
And that was the last time Anastasia was ever seen.
A search was launched when she went missing, and they eventually made the grim discovery of a severed head.
Officials are carrying out DNA tests to confirm whether the head belonged to Anastasia.
It was scarred with “bite marks from a large animal”, according to local sources.
Signs of bear activity were located in the area, but wolves also roam the land.
However, investigators have not ruled out that the victim was murdered and her body later mauled by bears.
Anastasia vanished on March 9 as she walked along the road to the village of Novaya Kola at around 1 in the morning.
Police say they currently have “no operationally significant information” about her fate.
The DNA of other missing people is also being checked against the severed head.
Sverdlovsk region police colonel Valery Gorelykh said: “In the micro-district where the head was found, search operations are underway with the aim of possibly finding other remains.
“Wild animals could have possibly dragged them away.”
Another person lost their life to a wild animal attack.
Sarangadi, 49, a dad from India, was killed by a crocodile in Indonesia when the beast grabbed him and dragged him into the water.
Friends battled to pull him from the powerful jaws but were unable to save him.
Sarangadi was foraging for shellfish in the river when the crocodile attacked him.
The beast reportedly launched out of the murky water and latched onto the man’s torso with its jaws.
Sarangadi’s pals tried their best to reach him but he was quickly dragged into the depths of the river.
One of the friends said he had seen a “whirlpool” in the middle of the water shortly before the shocking attack.
Asdar said: “The other villagers waded into the river, and I chose to stay on land. Not long after we arrived, I saw a disturbance in the middle of the river.
“Suddenly, a crocodile surged out of the water and attacked Sarangadi.
“He works as a farmer. Collecting shellfish is not a usual part of his routine. He could have lived if we had not invited him.”
Rescue teams searched the river overnight where Sarangadi’s body was eventually found.

THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 - and it was an instant hit.
Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.
During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.
Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.
The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.
“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.
“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”
The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.
They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.
“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”
Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.
