The Grammy Award-winning artist Eminem’s daughter Hailie Jade has welcomed her first child with husband Evan McClintock. The fashion and beauty influencer shared the good news on her social media, sharing the name of her son, which honors her father.

Ahead of giving birth to Elliot, Jade spoke on her podcast Just a Little Shady about her excitement of finally meeting the bundle of her joy.
She said,
It’s so weird to think about… I can’t even wrap my head around it. I have to meet this human that I’ve created. What’s he going to look like? What’s he going to…what’s his personality going to be like? It’s strange but super exciting.
Eminem, back in 2024, shared a video for his song Temporary featuring Skylar Grey, which featured home videos of Hailie Jade. Towards the end of the video, Eminem shared a video of Jade revealing to him that she’s expecting her first baby with her husband. He was as surprised as we all were to know that not only his daughter was married but was expecting. (That makes us feel old)

Evan McClintock had shared on an episode of Just a Little Shady that he had dutifully taken the blessings of the greatest rapper alive to marry his daughter during the holiday season. The couple married at a lavish venue in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Hailie Jade says her ‘young’ parents did a good job
The beauty and fashion influencer, in one of her episodes of Just a Little Shady, opened up about how Eminem was a young father. The artist has dedicated masterpieces like Hailie’s Song or Mockingbird to his daughter. She shared,
Many people were concerned that he wasn’t going to be a good dad or something, but here we are.
Eminem’s younger half-brother Nate Samra-Mathers noted during the conversation that he thought Em was the best role model he could have had to help him be the dad he is today. Hailie Jade went on to mention that she appreciated that her parents were young when she was born because, according to her, one gets to have a friendship with the kids when they are younger.
Hailie Jade Scott in August shared her views after watching Eminem and Jelly Roll’s song Somebody Save Me, which goes on to depict an alternate reality where Eminem does not get sober and misses out on family milestones. She also spoke about Temporary. Jade said,
Speaking of things I watched this past week, which I guess I’ll say I watched, but I refused to watch again—the Somebody Save Me music video. I don’t think I can do it again. I definitely cry every time I hear it at all.
She further added that Temporary broke her, adding that she audibly sobbed for both songs, but especially Temporary. The song features an audio recording of her when she was a baby. The influencer mentioned that watching the video back and listening to the songs makes her feel like her parents did such a good job.
Jade noted that growing up, she didn’t realize how bad things were, but now as an adult, it’s so scary whenever she thinks about it. She concluded that the older she gets, the less she can listen to any of the songs.
